Eastern Maine Medical Center (EMMC) Looking for CNAs
Recently Allison Kavin, recruiter for EMMC, visited the Health Science Careers –CNA program to discuss opportunities at the hospital for people with their CNA. “EMMC is currently seeking CNAs for the med/surg units. As a recruiter with EMMC, I am working to build our connections with CNA technical programs in the greater Penobscot region. I look forward to speaking with the CNA students at Northern Penobscot Region III Technical about EMMC’s nursing tech opportunities. I will also speak with the students about interviewing tips and tricks, helping to prepare them for their job search once they are ready to start looking for a CNA position. We are excited to build this connection with Northern Penobscot Region III.” She stated.
She visited 20 Junior and senior CNA students describing the vast number of facilities that are part of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems (EMHS) and the many kinds of jobs that could be filled with a person who has their CNA certification. There are endless opportunities for students who will be going to college, not only in Bangor but many areas around the state.
The students will tour EMMC and Acadia hospital the first week of June!
